When Vern and Edith Knoespel started Vern's Cheese
back in March of 1964 they had no idea it would blossom into the highly respected business that it is today.
They started over 40 years ago with nothing more than a loan, one truck and the desire to succeed. And
succeed they have. From a rented beer cooler where they originally stored their cheese to their modern
production facility on the west edge of Chilton, Vern's reputation for quality products and customer service
