| N.A.S.A. The North American Squirrel Association |
Formed in 2003, The North American Squirrel Association (n.a.s.a.) is a non-profit organization that grew out of a desire to provide physically challenged and elderly members of Western Wisconsin and surrounding communities with outdoor opportunities such as hunting, fishing, and much more! Using donated funds and equipment from generous individuals and businesses in the Coulee Region, n.a.s.a. has been able to provide such opportunities free of charge to those in need, all the while continuing to grow.
n.a.s.a. offers a pontoon boat that is freely available for the elderly and physically challenged. Along with the pontoon boat, n.a.s.a. holds several fishing and hunting events each year. n.a.s.a. has also helped support a program with Mt. La Crosse that will allow more children with special needs learn how to ski, provides specially-built bicycles for the physically challenged, and has a goal to provide every local golf course with a physically-challenged accessible golf cart! Be sure to visit our website to learn about all of the great outdoor opportunities we provide for the elderly, youth, and physically challenged in our community!
The North American Squirrel Association was created in order to:
