From
the last snow to the first snow, canoeing in Wisconsin is fun and safe,
thanks to Mr. Duck’s Canoe Rental.
Family owned and operated since 1988, we are conveniently located
right on the Kickapoo River two blocks from downtown Ontario, at the junction
of Highway 33 and 131 N.,
in the Yellow Tin Building!
In
addition to renting the only tubes on the river, Mr. Duck’s Canoe
Rental provides a route down the Kickapoo River to make canoeing
easier than ever for your whole family.
Mr.
Duck’s
Canoe Trail follows the Kickapoo River, the crookedest river in the world.
This river can be waded 90% of the way in the upper part, making it very
safe for families, beginners and amateurs. Our canoe trail begins in Ontario
and takes you all the way to La
Farge. Picnic grounds, water and bathrooms are available for
your use in Wildcat Mountain State Park
on the way to your designated pickup point.
Our
trips span from 1.5 hours to 6 hours in a day. We also offer a two-day
trip where you will camp overnight along the river. While canoeing or
tubing, you'll enjoy the beautiful countryside, Wisconsin's spring green
and the scenic fall colors. Our trips are safe and fun, and a wonderful
experience for the whole family!
You
also are invited to enjoy our private campground (only for Mr.
Duck's canoeists and tubers) located at the canoe landing!
Two people, a small
child, dog and cooler are the recommended weight limit. If you want to
bring your dog, call us for special consideration.
Even if you have your own canoe or rent from us, Shuttle service is always provided.
We
offer group rates for churches, scouts, businesses, schools and others.

everything you need before canoeing, such as tanning lotion, sunglasses,
hats, souvenirs. If Mr. Duck does not have what you need this small town environment is the
perfect place to shop before heading off on your river adventures. The Old
Mill Stores are open from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. during canoe
season.
