Wisconsin Rapids is a bustling city in central Wisconsin in all seasons. Seasons here are defined by many as winter sports, walleye, golf, and cranberry harvest! With the Wisconsin River flowing through the center of Wisconsin Rapids and many state and county parks and trails, there are many recreational opportunities in the area. Wisconsin Rapids features outdoor activities, history, events and festivals, and family fun for everyone all year round!

Residents are proud of their strong economic climate, which is a blend of manufacturing and agriculture. In addition to a strong retail base and many small manufacturing and service businesses, it is home to major industry, with 9 of the top Fortune 500 companies located in the Wisconsin Rapids area. This area is also the largest inland cranberry-producing region in the world.

Wisconsin Rapids celebrates its heritage, business community and the seasons with many festivals and events. There's the Sno Blast Festival, Walleye Days, Point Basse Pioneer Festival, Grand River Fest, Water Ski State Championship, Rodeo, Warrens Cranberry Festival and  Harvest Fair and more, including  community band concerts weekly in the summer. Wisconsin Rapids is proud of its excellent school system including a technical college, and its strong sense of community pride and the quality of life that exists in the community. 

Recreational Activities
