and agriculture. In addition to a strong retail base and many small
manufacturing and service businesses, it is home to major industry, with 9
of the top Fortune 500 companies located in the Wisconsin Rapids area.
This area is also the largest inland cranberry-producing region in the
world.

Wisconsin
Rapids celebrates its heritage, business community and the seasons
with many festivals and events. There's the Sno Blast Festival, Walleye
Days, Point Basse Pioneer Festival, Grand River Fest, Water Ski State
Championship, Rodeo, Warrens Cranberry Festival and Harvest Fair and
more, including community band concerts weekly in the summer. Wisconsin
Rapids is proud of its excellent school system including a technical
college, and its strong sense of community pride and the quality of life that
exists in the
community.

Rapids. Outdoor enthusiasts enjoy great hunting opportunities in the
state forests and parks, and the Wisconsin River and numerous area lakes

the area provide beautiful sightseeing and nature watching as well as
biking, ATV, hiking, snowmobiling and cross country skiing. Downhill ski
hills are nearby as well as Powers Bluff, which features
snow-tubing, a fun sport for the whole family!

the state, and at affordable prices. Tours of papermills, cranberry
marshes, historic buildings and streets as well wildlife refuges and
lush gardens are popular ways to enjoy the Wisconsin Rapids area. A

concerts, and many festivals and events also provide residents and
