The Kettle Moraine Symphony, West Bend Art Museum and art galleries, and community theater feature many local artists and events throughout the year that attract both residents and visitors. The West Bend Sculpture Walk displays more than a dozen large-scale works along the Riverfront Parkway.

West Bend celebrates its heritage and community spirit with many local festivals and events for the entire family. West Bend Germanfest, Kettle Moraine Jazz Festival and Music on Main are just a few popular area  summer activities for all to enjoy.

Recreation

West Bend offers recreational opportunities for all levels of sports enthusiasts!  Boating, swimming and other water recreation are available on local lakes and rivers. The Kettle Moraine area is a special attraction for bikers, skiers, and hikers from all over the Midwest. Groomed trails are abundant and take adventurers through many interesting and scenic natural sites. In downtown West Bend you can leisurely walk, bike or jog  the 2.5 miles of trails along the Milwaukee River in Riverfront Parkway, and enjoy beautiful sculptures along the way. Numerous city parks provide a variety of outdoor activities and several exceptional golf courses will please both the novice and the experienced golfer.

Residents and visitors alike enjoy unique and delightful shopping, dining and lodging in the West Bend area. Shoppers will find specialty shops, antique, collectible, craft and import shops, art galleries, and a leather goods company established here in 1866. A wide variety of dining is available from ethnic eateries including German and Italian to the traditional Wisconsin Fish Fry. There are also steakhouses, family restaurants and continental cuisine in lakefront and historical settings.
