The Town of Westport is located next to Waunakee and borders Lake Mendota. The Town of Westport derives its name from Westport, Ireland, from where many of its early settlers came. Residents enjoy beautiful lake views and the conveniences offered in the Waunakee area.

Area Attractions

• Bolz Conservancy Park
  A 15-Acre park featuring a hilltop with a fabulous view of Lake Mendota and the State Capital. There a walking path that winds around the hilltop and down the hillside connecting to Southbridge Park.
   

• Castle Creek Conservancy
  This 37-Acre park has approximately 11 acres upland and  26 acres of wetland. The park is managed primarily as a  nature preserve and conservancy area. There is a walking path.
