Known as the "Can Do City," Sun Prairie offers a business-friendly and active community with lots to see and do! Sun Prairie is the home of famed artist Georgia O'Keeffe. In fact, her family was one of the first immigrant families to settle the area. Business and Industry

Located in Dane County, which is consistently ranked as one of the top places in America to live, Sun Prairie  is a rapidly growing business community, offering small city life within the larger metropolitan area of Madison.
Great transportation is available with easy access to Interstates 90 and 94, and to the Dane County Regional Airport, which is located only 10 minutes away. Sun Prairie boasts one of the most beautiful and successful business parks in Wisconsin. The community also has an industrial park and a wide variety of available commercial, retail and other industrial sites. 

Local government is supportive in promoting growth and business development in Sun Prairie. Because city government works so effectively with private business, Sun Prairie is known as  the "Can Do City." With 30 parks on 400 beautiful acres, a family aquatic center, indoor ice arena, golf course, auto racing and much more, the community provides great opportunities for family activities. Every February the community gathers together to celebrate "Groundhog Day" with world famous "Jimmy the Groundhog" who has an 80% forecast success rate. Many community events and festivals, such as the Art & Craft Fair, Sweet Corn Festival in August, and WinterFest, promote fun and a great sense of community in Sun Prairie
