Edgerton, population 4,300, owns two Industrial Parks of 100 acres, State Highways 51 and 59 pass through the city and connect with Interstate 90 two miles away. Air Service is supplied by the Rock County Airport 15 miles south and the Madison Airport 30 miles north.

A multitude of services are available at Memorial Community Hospital: 24 hour emergency and urgent care inpatient care. 61 bed long term care facility, rehabilitative services. Physicians provide care in a wide variety of specialties including family practice; surgery; internal  medicine; pediatrics; ophthalmology; neurology; ear, nose and throat; orthopedics and urology.

Rivers, streams, lakes and two city parks provide excellent recreation areas for the picnicker, hiker, hunter or fisherman. Camping and cross-country skiing are popular seasonal pastimes. The region is rich in cultural opportunities ranging from community and professional theater to concerts and art galleries. Many area antique shops attract both browsers and collectors.
