Trout streams are abundant in the wooded hills, while the three major rivers offer bass, catfish, walleye and panfish. Crawford County offers some of the vest hunting in the state with large populations of deer, turkey, small game and waterfowl. Other outdoor activities include hiking through a county or state park, horseback riding, camping, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling and golfing on many area courses.
