your favorite pastime, the waters of the Pigeon, Embarrass, and Wolf Rivers are accessible within
minutes and feature smallmouth bass, northern pike, panfish and forage
species. Formed by the glaciers of the last ice age, the Navarino Wildlife Area consists of 14,500 acres providing
beautiful scenery and trails for hiking, wildlife watching, hunting and
cross-country skiing. There is always time in Clintonville for
playing golf on local golf courses, as well as tennis, hiking, biking,
picnicking, boating,
hunting, snowmobiling, and cross-country skiing.
History enthusiasts will
enjoy visiting Pioneer Park which houses the History House constructed in
1861, the Ralph Dem Stavemaker Cabin, and other restored buildings that
bring Clintonville's past to life.
One of the most unique collections of stones anywhere in the United States can be found in Pioneer Park, which also includes a section of the
Great Wall of China. At the Four-Wheel Drive Museum, visitors walk into the workshop
where the first four-wheel drive cars and trucks were invented.
