Beautiful parks, Echo Lake and the Fox and White Rivers provide many

and horseback riding, all which are located within minutes of downtown
Burlington.
Many fun and unique adventures can be enjoyed while
visiting Burlington. The Tall Tales Trail provides a book of
"championship lies" as well as a map of businesses and
shops to visit that feature some of the best lies of the past 60 years! The self-guided Walking
Tour of Historic Burlington is also a beautiful way to spend the day.
The community celebrates with wonderful events and
festivals throughout the year. The annual three-day ChocolateFest in May includes carnival rides,
chocolate tasting, entertainment, a parade and more. In the summer the
Aquaducks Ski Show presents free professional style weekly water ski shows
featuring, pyramids, jump acts, and chorus lines. Many other
attractions such as summer band concerts, local playhouse, art
fairs, street dances, parades, regattas and
boat races, and Christmas Lighting, Parade and Santa's Chalet are popular
family outings for both residents and visitors.
