Telemark has become the host resort for national & major sporting events such as the American Birkebeiner (February), the Chequamegon Fat Tire Festival (September), the Fat Tire Triathlon (August), the Fat Tire Duathlon (May), CXC NorAm Super Tour (January) and the 24 Hours of Telemark (January).
Telemark is the silent sport enthusiast's getaway for recreation, vacation and relaxation.
Not only is Telemark known as a Silent Sports Retreat the resort also hosts snowmobile races; Snocross (December) and Hillcross (March). Racers start at the bottom of what once was a downhill ski slope in front of the lodge and race over bumps and jumps to the finish line.
