Celebrating 104 years of "Olde
Country Charm," the Stage Road Inn in Sturgeon Bay offers some
of Wisconsin's finest traditions of great food, refreshments and
hospitality. Our tasty menu includes delicious homemade pizza,
Friday fish fry, genuine broasted chicken, lots of appetizers and
sandwiches and other favorites. Located 4 miles south of Sturgeon Bay on
County Hwy. S, our landmark red brick building has been a convenient stop
for travelers and residents between Algoma and Sturgeon Bay for a century!
Today the Stage Road Inn is a family restaurant with a game room

A 104 Year Tradition!
Beginning in 1904, the Stage Road Inn was the place to rest your
horses and grab a drink and a bite to eat. During the Prohibition Era, 1919
-1933, the inn also included a popular dance hall. For the past 20 years Tom
Schmelzer and his family have owned and operated the Stage Road Inn and
it remains a popular gathering spot steeped in tradition.
