The Moccasin Bar, in downtown
Hayward, is a great place to stop for a cool refreshing drink and see some
of the best mounted fish and wildlife in Wisconsin, including the largest
Musky on record! Located at the intersection of Hwy 27 & 63, The Moccasin
Bar serving cold drinks and tasty pizza since
1900.
At just over 5 ft. long, and
weighing in at 67 ½ pounds, this mammoth fish, caught over 50
years ago, still holds the World Record for the largest musky ever
caught - July 24 1949 on Lac Courte Oreilles by Cal Johnson.
This is just one of many musky and sturgeon
mounts scattered throughout the Moccasin Bar, where you can also find many
other wildlife displays.
