Dave Henry has been an Automotive Service
Excellence certified Master Technician since 1972. As a Master
Technician, Dave has passed rigorous testing in the areas of: engines,
automatic and manual transmissions, drive line, air conditioning,
brakes, suspension, and electrical repair. Additionally, he is certified
by the Environmental Protection Agency, as required by law, to work on
air conditioning.
Dave’s career in automotive repair began at the age
of twelve, when he tore his father’s lawnmower apart to make a go-cart.
Although his father was not pleased, this initiated a genuine passion
for cars and a lifetime of automotive repair excellence.
In 1997, Dave opened his own repair shop, Dave’s
Auto Service, with the idea to offer “personalized care” for his clients
and their vehicles. It is a small shop, with a simple promise: to treat
every customer as an individual. At Dave’s shop, you will not only get
the fairest price, you will be treated like a friend.
Working with your “personal mechanic” is very
different than going to a large dealership.
Dave will get to know you in order to understand
your automotive repair needs. He will talk to you about your financial
situation, and help you determine the best course of action for you and
your vehicle. Dave will explain what repairs are critical and need to be
done immediately, as well as what repairs could possibly be held off
until a later time. He will explain the pros and cons of having each
repair done, or letting them wait. He can also help you set up a
regular maintenance schedule to avoid costly breakdowns in the future.
Dave will be honest and upfront with you about your vehicle-- instead of
just slamming you with a bill making you feel your vehicle will
self-destruct in 10 seconds if you don’t have 100 things fixed
immediately!

Normal hours of operation are
8:00am until 6:00pm, Monday through Friday. On the other hand,
we are happy to make arrangements to try to accommodate your
schedule or situation, just give us a call. We do request that
you make an appointment. |
