Pick Your Own ApplesPicking your own apples is always a fun activity. Bring the whole family as well as friends. On weekdays, you can take your vehicle or enjoy a nice walk to the orchard. On weekends jump on our trams and we'll bring you where you want to go. You can also walk to the orchard - no vehicles are allowed in the orchard on weekends. Hand wagons are available for your convenience but you should bring containers for your apples, such as plastic bags, baskets or pails. With 18 varieties of apples, we are sure to have something to please every member of your family! Visit with the AnimalsWhile you're at Apple Valley Orchard, be sure to visit our winged and furry friends, including goats, llamas, donkey, deer and more. On the weekends we have special treats for the animals available for purchase.

Field TripsWe offer tours of our orchards to school groups, scouts and other children's organizations. Upon arriving, children will learn about the history of our orchard, the proper way to pick an apple and about our animals. They will then take a guided tour along our walking trail where they will meet many of our animals. Then it 's off to the orchard to pick apples. Each child will be given a bag for their apples. Our tours are given Monday through Thursday from mid-September to early October. Sign up starts August 1st and is limited, so be sure to register early.
